… I just got an odd e-mail at work that starts “You are one of a group of key informants we have identified as knowledgeable about the work of digital content.” Made me laugh, maybe its the wording – half the laugh is probably an underlying fear that I purport to know anything. I take interests in subjects try to figure them out and recombine them with others things that I have a slight understanding of . . . like creating an intellectual mixed media? Later in the e-mail it mentions they are “conducting research to identify what skills and knowledge are necessary for individuals to be successful in the field. This information will be used to inform the design of curriculum at the graduate level.” Now that I’ve quoted a bit from the e-mail I’m wondering if they can find their quoted material on this blog via searching text-strings or something.
