spring break & art

Though spring break isn’t finished yet I just about am. Its been a very good, fulfilling week. I only went to work on monday. As if by magic, Wednesday (or maybe late Tuesday?) I was handed money for a painting that I had nearly given up on. Money came at a perfect time since I was nearly broke from all the spring break festivities. The next day I received a check in the mail for a painting I had sent to an art auction in Altalnta. Also, a friend who’s in town for a few days has confirmed her interest in commissioning a large painting. I’m hoping to get to an art store with her and start on this immediately. If not this week then certainly next. Tonight may hold more spring break antics. Currently I’m cleaning house and catching up on current events.
